Join APTP Sacramento and partners of MH First for a night of refreshment, snacks, and community to celebrate the launch of MH First.
We’ll spend the night educating ourselves around what MH First is doing to grow the program’s capacity, sharing food and drink, and building community. Whether you’re a long-time organizer, a mental health professional, a donor, or a community member with questions, come through.
The goal of MH First is to respond to mental health crises including, but not limited to, psychiatric emergencies, opiate overdoses, and domestic violence situations that require victim extraction. Our three person team will use de-escalation techniques, non-punitive and life affirming interventions, safety planning and accompaniment to provide community members with much needed services.
